The Apocalypse and Shavuot
A biblical apocalypse is not a one-time event. It isn’t the end of the world. It isn’t something we should commercialize or use as a gimmick. Those Who Destroy the Earth
The Scripture from Revelation, in my opinion, is speaking of something much bigger than the environment. Who are those that are destroying the earth and what kind of destruction is taking place that would cause God to bring about His final judgment upon the world? Surely, the Day of the Lord is justified by more than damage to nature!
3 Stages of Civilizations
The children of Israel prospered and grew into a nation serving a vigorous Egypt. But then Egypt became decadent—full of themselves under a new pharaoh who did not know how God had blessed them under Joseph, and the children of Israel suffered. When they cried out, God said it was time for them to leave. He delivered His people with great judgments.
