Is King Charles III the Antimessiah?

On May 6th of this year King Charles was crowned. It was an elaborate ceremony with a procession, crowning, anointing, and a parade. It was filled with Scriptures, spiritual songs, and trumpets.

Charles, the firstborn of Queen Elizabeth, had waited a long time for this moment in history. In 1969 at his investiture, he became the heir apparent with the title Prince of Wales. While many were, and are, opposed to the idea of the monarchy, this was a much-anticipated event as Queen Elizabeth advanced in age. Prince Charles’ activities with Diana and Camilla did not enhance the image of the monarchy either. Earlier, there was speculation that Charles might be passed over in favor of his son, William, until the Queen weighed in with her choice.

The United Kingdom is very aware of the history and hierarchy of the heraldic order in the monarchy and the House of Windsor. They are familiar with Charles’ Coat of Arms, crest, and motto; the rest of world not so much. But there is great meaning to every aspect of his symbols, orders, and titles. Even Biblical scholars do not see the comparison of them to the symbology of the antimessiah in Scripture. When the comparison is made, it begs the question of why they had never noticed it.

For those who study eschatology and the prophecies of the Great Tribulation, there is one fascinating subject that draws everyone’s attention. Who is the antichrist (antimessiah) that is to come in the last days? Is he alive today? Where will he come from?

If he is alive and with us today, then the logic is overwhelming. We are in the last days and the end of the ages, and the Messiah is coming soon. The Book of Revelation offers an intriguing clue that is intended to help answer that question.

Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.

Revelation 13:18

The beast of Revelation (the antimessiah) is prophesied to have the numerical value of 666 associated with his name. This prophecy is intended to orient certain believers to his identity prior to him being revealed to the world. It is not the prophecy that proves to the world that he is the antimessiah. It is also a clue to who can answer the question. More than just knowledge, the person who does the counting must have wisdom and understanding.  Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number…

Before we delve into our question about King Charles, let’s review some history of how this question has been addressed.

Every bad person who has risen to international attention has been accused of being the antimessiah. Heading the list have been multiple popes, Hitler, and some presidents of the United States. Even computers have been accused. On the flip side, there are some who say that no one can know who the antimessiah is since the rapture must occur before any of the prophecies of the tribulation can occur. Remember, they believe in the “pre-tribulation” rapture.

Most evangelicals who believe strongly in the rapture also believe in a seven-year tribulation with the antimessiah being very likeable and bringing peace to the world in the first 3 ½ years, who then turns against the world in the Great Tribulation (the last 3 ½ years). What they fail to understand is that there are a series of prophecies relating to when he is a “prince” and another series of prophecies relating to when he is a “king.” Certain believers will see him as a prince before he is revealed to the world as a king. The actual event that reveals him to the world is the “Abomination of Desolation,” so named in prophecies given by Daniel and confirmed by the Messiah.

Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),…

Matthew 24:15

Paul echoed this same timing of the antimessiah being revealed.

Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah and our gathering together to Him [the Greater Exodus and the Resurrection/Rapture], that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord [the Great Tribulation leading to the Day of the Lord] has come. Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things? And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming;

2 Thessalonians 2:1–8

Paul was agreeing with the Messiah: the antimessiah is revealed at the Abomination of Desolation, the beginning of the Great Tribulation. The mystery of lawlessness is being able to see the antimessiah coming before he is revealed.

Consider this also, the antimessiah is a fake messiah. He is to imitate and offer himself as a substitute to the true messiah, as Satan tried to offer Yeshua control over the worlds if Yeshua would worship him. As of the date of this writing, the Great Tribulation has not begun. The trauma we do see is the “beginning of sorrows” that the Messiah and the Apostles spoke of, but the end has not yet come and the antimessiah has not been revealed to the world.

Currently, there are many believers who consider that King Charles is the antimessiah. There is a tremendous amount of evidence pointing to King Charles, beginning with his previous title “Prince Charles of Wales,” calculating to the number 666 both in English and Hebrew. From there you find that all the Revelation symbols of the Red Dragon and the composite beast of the lion, leopard, and bear are his personal symbolism with his heraldic order and coat of arms. There is even more that follows.

At the same time, some are denying that King Charles can be the antimessiah because the rapture has not happened yet, and they think he is really a “wimp” with no power.

I expect this controversy will continue until the antimessiah is revealed at the beginning of the Great Tribulation. Does that mean that the question of King Charles cannot be answered? Not at all.

Those who are wise and have been granted understanding from God will know the antimessiah before he is revealed. Look at what God told the prophet Daniel who told us about the antimessiah first.

After this I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrifying and extremely strong; and it had large iron teeth. It devoured and crushed and trampled down the remainder with its feet; and it was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. While I was contemplating the horns, behold, another horn, a little one, came up among them, and three of the first horns were pulled out by the roots before it; and behold, this horn possessed eyes like the eyes of a man and a mouth uttering great boasts.

Daniel 7:7–8

Daniel’s vision describes a beast that rises in the midst of ten horns (kings, rulers) called the “little horn.” The antimessiah is actually the eleventh ruler who uproots three of the ten and then comes to power by the remaining seven giving him their power (authority to rule in their place). This same prophecy is reflected in the Book of Revelation.

Here is the mind which has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits, and they are seven kings; five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain a little while. The beast which was and is not, is himself also an eighth and is one of the seven, and he goes to destruction. The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour. These have one purpose, and they give their power and authority to the beast.

Revelation 17:9-13

The empire of the beast/antimessiah is another intriguing element concerning his ancestry. Let me go back and explain.

And the angel said to me, "Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns. The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss and go to destruction. And those who dwell on the earth, whose name has not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, will wonder when they see the beast, that he was and is not and will come.”

Revelation 17:7–8

There are four elements here: a woman, the beast, seven heads, and ten horns. I am going to shorten this explanation and cut to the chase. The antimessiah originates from the same empire that destroyed Jerusalem - Rome. The antimessiah was to be first a Roman Prince. The Roman Empire transforms into the “Holy Roman Empire” with its emperors. There are seven emperors (heads) that share something in common. They all share the name “Charles.” The Holy Roman Empire has had seven of them. Charles is the eighth. The Holy Roman Empire has been transformed into modern Europe. Europe has been depicted in Greek mythology as a “woman riding a beast” called Europa–a moon goddess riding Zeus as a bull.

The newly issued commemorative coin of King Charles has the image of him on one side and Europa on the other side. His father, Prince Phillip, was originally a Greek prince before marrying Queen Elizabeth.

I would remind you as a reader that the Roman/Greco world mythology was a theology against the God of Israel. Christianity swept over the Western Roman Empire diminishing “the gods” to Mythology. King Charles is now bringing it back, highlighting his ancestry.

Now this brings us to the most stunning part of his ancestry. We know the Messiah is the son of King David. Yeshua’s ancestry is given to us in the Gospels to prove His lineage back to King David. Did you know that King Charles has an ancestry chart that shows he is the son of King David as well? He does. King Charles claims to be the son of King David.

Let us review quickly the symbology of King Charles with the beast symbols in Revelation.

And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore. Then I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names. And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority. I saw one of his heads as if it had been slain, and his fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast; they worshiped the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?" There was given to him a mouth speaking arrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for forty-two months was given to him. And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven. It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain. If anyone has an ear, let him hear.

If anyone is destined for captivity, to captivity he goes; if anyone kills with the sword, with the sword he must be killed. Here is the perseverance and the faith of the saints.

Revelation 13:1–10

This a powerful passage describing the antimessiah with many details.

  • There is a dragon on a seashore.

  • There is beast that comes from the sea.

  • The beast has seven heads and ten horns.

  • The horns have diadems.

  • The heads have blasphemous names.

  • The beast has the body of leopard, the feet of a bear, the mouth of a lion.

  • The dragon gives him his power, throne, and great authority.

  • He is to receive a fatal head wound and be healed.

  • The whole earth will be amazed and follow him.

  • He will speak arrogant words and blasphemies.

  • He is given a period of 42 months to rule.

  • He will make war with the saints.

  • Those who worship him will not receive eternal life.

So let us break down these Scripture symbols and see if King Charles has any of them.

  • The dragon by the seashore matches the Dragon of Wales.

  • Since Great Britain is an island, anyone coming from there comes by the sea.

  • The seven heads match the seven emperors of the Holy Roman Empire with the name Charles.

  • The ten horns symbol is intriguing at this moment. The global elites leading the World Economic Forum consists of many elite men who are the richest business leaders, heads of states, etc. The forum is sponsoring a governmental and public collaboration to essentially rule the world above individual nation states, even more than the United Nations. King Charles is one the most heavily involved men in that forum leading the way for climate change, world food security, and sustainability for the earth. Sustainability is the key word here. They are behind the Global Reset and the advancement of digital money. As in any organization the membership is narrowed to leadership. We are watching for a group of 10 to become visible.

  • The diadems represent controlling authorities and the power over many diverse areas of life: world health, banking and finances, food production and distribution, deployment of military forces, international trade, currency exchanges, etc.

  • The Heraldic Beast image is controlled by the College of Heraldry and it is composed of a body of a leopard (the former emperors from France), the feet of the bear (the former emperors from Germany), and the mouth/head of a lion (the former emperors from England). They are called “the Leopards of England” or the “the Lions of England.” This symbol is dominant in Charles’ Coat of Arms.

  • Charles received his heir apparency as the Prince of Wales in Wales with a Red Dragon banner above him and the same Red Dragon emblazoned on his throne chair. Queen Elizabeth referenced this dragon of Wales when she bestowed on him “power, throne, and great authority.” This dragon is also on his Coat of Arms.

  • At King Charles’ coronation upon receiving his crown, the entire world was called upon to swear allegiance to him. However, in a last-minute change, it was pulled from the service due to the backlash for such a public vow.

The remaining items are specific prophecies that will occur in the future. We should also mention another “beast” who is different from the first. He is commonly referred to the False Prophet. This is actually a group of religious leaders who will support the antimessiah.

Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb and he spoke as a dragon. He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. And he makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed. He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the presence of men.

Revelation 13:11–13

There are a number of elements to take note of concerning this second beast (the False Prophet). His symbolism is a ram and he leads the world to worship the antimessiah. That effort makes him appear to be a religious leader. He will also replicate the famous miracle of Elijah calling down fire when dealing with the prophets of Bael.

In the descriptions of both the first and second beasts, there is reference to a fatal head wound and being revived from it. Apparently, the antimessiah will be assassinated by a head wound. I can envision some idiot thinking Charles is the antimessiah and thinking they are doing God a favor. Regardless of the motive, consider this: What will the world think if Charles has his own version of the resurrection?

Before we leave this subject. we need to review the prophet Zechariah and his description of this event.

For behold, I am going to raise up a shepherd in the land who will not care for the perishing, seek the scattered, heal the broken, or sustain the one standing, but will devour the flesh of the fat sheep and tear off their hoofs. Woe to the worthless shepherd who leaves the flock! A sword will be on his arm and on his right eye! His arm will be totally withered and his right eye will be blind.

Zechariah 11:16–17

Zechariah recognizes the antimessiah as a false shepherd. The fatal wound to the antimessiah will result in long term damage. He will not be completely healed. He will be blind in his right eye and his right arm will be handicapped as a result of his head wound.

Again, I ask the question. What will the world think and say if the event happens to King Charles? Will they worship him or consider him to be more than a king?

There are still future events that will decidedly answer the question of whether King Charles is the antimessiah. In conclusion let us review what will be the most certain evidence for this question.

Paul said in 2 Thessalonians that the antimessiah would be revealed at the beginning of the Great Tribulation. Yeshua has said that the action prophesied by Daniel called the Abomination of Desolation will initiate the Great Tribulation. Referring then to Daniel let us examine the prophecy of the Abomination of Desolation.

From the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.

Daniel 12:11

This is the simplest description of the prophecy. There are two events: the daily sacrifice on the altar is stopped (rendering the altar unusable until it is rebuilt) and the setting up of the image of the antimessiah. The setting up of the image is when the False Prophet calls upon the world to worship the antimessiah and proclaim him savior and lord. This is a fake second coming. This will be the moment when there is no doubt that he is the antimessiah.

But let us take note of where we are at today with the existing evidence we have. How much evidence do we have to make a preliminary conclusion that King Charles is the antimessiah? We have plenty!

Presently, there are many students of prophecy who are now considering Charles to be the antimessiah. At a minimum, those persons think he most certainly is the leading candidate. I agree with that assessment as well. We should all pay close attention to him and to what he says and does. But I will declare that he is the antimessiah when God chooses the time to reveal him by his image being set-up.

There are some who are arguing against all of this because it does not fit their prophetic expectations of the rapture happening first. We have been dealing with that rapture-first expectation for some time. Maybe that is why there will be a great falling away from the faith (also known as the apostasy) mentioned in 2 Thessalonians at the beginning of the Great Tribulation when the rapture is NOT first.

Let me conclude by sharing a conversation I had with a pastor concerning this subject.

I asked the pastor, who strongly believed in the pre-trib rapture and didn’t think the antimessiah or the tribulation would have anything to do with him, “Setting aside your belief in the rapture timing for a moment, what will you do if you do see the Abomination of Desolation, including the antimessiah’s image and him coming to power?” He answered, “I would give up the faith.”

When I asked him why, he said, “I don’t want to believe in any God that would make me or my family to go through the tribulation!”

My Bible says we will be delivered from those days and see the coming of the One True King.
